The FIFA Arab Cup 2025 Opening Ceremony took place at Al Bayt Stadium in Doha, Qatar, in front of nearly 70,000 spectators.
A 20-minute cinematic show built around themes of unity, heritage, and renewal. The narrative followed the creation, collapse, and symbolic rebirth of a monumental structure — a visual metaphor for cultural continuity and collective identity.
Stage design and all visuals were created by Sila Sveta.
The Monument
At the heart of the stage was a monumental architectural structure built from hundreds of chains. Its elements remained concealed at the start of the show, gradually rising into place — the effect of a monument assembling itself in real time.
Over the course of the performance the structure ascended to its full 40-meter height, then transformed into a dynamic levitating form with 22 kilometers of chrome-finished chains cascading beneath it.
Content for the structure and surrounding surfaces was developed as part of a unified visual system — all outputs designed to read as a single environment from inside the stadium.
Projection Systems
Visuals were developed for two independent projection systems: field projection mapping and the main stage surfaces. Both were built to integrate tightly with the choreography, music, and lighting — assembled into a single show timeline.
PIXMOB
PIXMOB wearable LED content was developed as a full layer of the show. With nearly 70,000 devices in the audience, the PIXMOB layer was sequenced inside the master edit and timed to the same cues as the rest of the visual system.

Show Desk & Launch
Final show assembly, desk supervision, and stadium launch were handled on-site. This included calibration across all output surfaces, last-mile adjustments with the Creative Technology and lighting teams, and running the show through to live broadcast.
